Royan , France | WCBU 2017

One of the most anticipated trip to Royan, France to catch the World Championships of Beach Ultimate 2017. A week of frisbee and sun, it doesn't get any better than this.
It was awesome to see so many teams from all around the world competing in this amazing sport!

The pictures below are just some of the teams I was supporting which I managed to snap when my eyes wasn't glued to the action before me:

Scotland | Isle of Skye

Started off the trip with a missed train but ended in a high with crazy weather conditions, long hours sitting in the car, long drive across scenic highlands and lots of good tunes.

Took me 4 years to finally visit the Scottish highlands and it was well worth it!

The first leg of the trip started off with a train ride from Leeds to Edinburgh; Edinburgh the capital of Scotland boasts plenty of historical and cultural attractions with its numerous museums and intricate architectures. There's also a UNESCO World Heritage Site Old Town with its medieval street layout, cobbled streets and Gothic buildings.

The real journey started off early in the morning as we made our way to Isle of Skye while visiting several unique attractions along the way.

One of our memorable pit stops at the Fairy Pools, a natural waterfall phenomenon in Glen Brittle on the Isle of Skye. We were enjoying out leisure walk when mother nature decided to unleash its full glory of rain and wind on us mere mortals. Drenched in rain and soaked to the bones it was a relief that our next stop was our rented AirBnB.

The night ended with a scrumptious dinner at a local restaurant, Cuchullin Restaurant located in Portree which is the largest town on Skye.

The gloomy skies and grey clouds added to the mysterious, out of this world landscape at Quiraing which is situated in the north of Skye.

Overall the trip was a pleasant getaway and I was glad that we got to experience the scenic landscapes of Skye despite the short amount of time we had.
